INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Maintain 30 servers, approximately 500 PC’s and 1 mini-mainframe.
Maintain VOIP phone system.
House and maintain the county web site
WAN (Wide Area Network) includes McGee Park, DWI, Public Housing, Juvenile Services Facility, and the Adult Detention Center.
Provide technical support to County Commissioners, DWI, Juvenile Services Facility, Adult Detention Center, Compliance Program, New Mexico Public Housing Authority, San Juan Water Commission, Parks and Maintenance at McGee Park, Vector Control, Traffic, Public Works, Human Resources, Central Purchasing, Community Development and all departments located in the main administration building.
Provide Internet and email access to all county offices.
GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Provide quality geospatial information, services and support to all county departments.
Maintenance on existing GIS data to ensure clean data sets.
Maintain and update maps for internal and public use.
Provide custom maps for county departments and the general public.
Provide support to the Sheriff’s Office on Crime Analysis, collect burn areas using GPS for Fire Operations, create and maintain the data for Public Works Department for their Road Certification, provide access to Aerial photography of the county to all departments, provide access to GIS data to end users.
