Mission

The San Juan County Parks & Facilities Department shall strive to develop and maintain quality parks and facilities; to preserve open/natural spaces; and to provide recreational programs, facilities and services which will enhance the physical, social and emotional well-being of ALL residents of San Juan County.

Vision

To enhance the quality of life for San Juan County Citizens by providing clean, safe and attractive parks, recreational facilities and county buildings. To professionally manage these facilities in order to maximize their use by all citizens of San Juan County.

The McGee Park, San Juan County Fairgrounds is located in the heart of the Four Corners just minutes away from Farmington, Bloomfield and Aztec. McGee Park is one of the best facilities in the western region of the United States. Our facility contains a new 49,500 sq. ft. Convention Center, a five-room Multi-Use Building, two Indoor Arenas as well as 574 on-site RV spaces with electricity and water and more than 2000 dry RV spaces.

Built specifically for meetings, trade shows, RV Rally's and equestrian events, the 186-acre fairgrounds is positioned two and a half hours north of Albuquerque (New Mexico) and 40 minutes south of Durango (Colorado), making it the perfect choice for your next event.

McGee Park has been host to a variety of events including the following:

* National High School Finals Rodeo (World's Largest Rodeo)

* Jordan World Circus

* Four Corners Oil & Gas Conference

*Concerts with artists such as: Clay Walker, George Strait, Toby Keith, Tracy Byrd and many more!

Our friendly and well trained staff will make you feel welcome, valued and right at home. Our staff will offer set up and take down assistance for any event, including: conventions, conferences, trade shows, performing events and RV Rallies.
