 McGee Park
offers more for the horse industry than any other facility in the state of New Mexico.
In addition to the two indoor arenas McGee Park also has an Outdoor Arena that is
100' X 200' and has a spectator capacity of 1,250. This accommodation offers
a roping chutes, an announcer's stand with P.A. System as well as bleachers, and
eight 1500 watt quartz lights for evening events. This arena is made from
cattle panels and is a wonderful aspect of the San Juan County Fairgrounds in the
spring and summer season. This facility gives you the option of having an
event outside in order to enjoy the weather and outdoor atmosphere. The outdoor
arena has the capabilities needed for events such as barrel races, ropings, clinics
and schools. The arena ground is worked to perfection and your standards,
as are all of our arenas.
