The Marketing & Media Relations Office serves as the County’s communications center, enhancing its visibility through internal and external publications, the news media and other outlets. It is responsible for media relations, news, publications, advertising and marketing communication. This office serves as a clearinghouse for all departments to provide a coordinated media relations strategy and to ensure communications efforts are made toward the County’s shared objectives and vision. The core service areas for the Marketing Office include: Internal and external publications management and production, special events planning, crisis communication and planning, speechwriting, marketing planning, research & analysis, graphic design of marketing print materials and promotional campaign materials. Advise County staff about the best ways to send messages to the media and citizens of San Juan County.
