The Risk Management Department provides all elements of risk management services for all elected officials and department heads. San Juan County is one of the few counties in New Mexico which has an experienced and qualified Risk Management Department.

The Risk Management Department’s vision and objective is to be the most competent public entities Risk Management Department in the state of New Mexico, and will continue to strive for improvement in every aspect of risk management. The risk management personnel will continue cooperating with other departments to assure all personnel that our efforts are in the best interests of the county, its employees, and the public.
