SCHOOL DISTRICT #5 - FARMINGTON
Property taxes are an important source of revenue for the different taxing jurisdictions. They provide
revenue for operations and debt service for State, County and Municipal entities.Generally, local schools
and colleges receive the largest portion of the property tax dollar, followed by County and Municipal
operations.A small portion goes to finance State debt and others, such as independent irrigation districts.
