The Clean-Up San Juan County App is being redesigned!
If you have the Clean-Up San Juan app, it may not be functioning as you are used to. Please uninstall it for now.
While the app is in redevelopment, we have created a simple form to report illegal trash dump sites.
Just mark your coordinates, upload a photo, add your contact information if you wish to be contacted when it is cleaned up, and you are done!
Dumping trash on public lands is illegal in San Juan County and those found to be dumping are subject to a $1,000 fine. (SJC-4-3)
San Juan County Solid Waste operates 12 trash transfer stations throughout the county where residents can deposit trash for a small fee. The San Juan County Landfill also accepts waste for a nominal fee.

Clean Up San Juan Privacy Policy
- Location Data: When you report an illegal dump site, the app collects your GPS coordinates to pinpoint the location accurately.
- Media: You can upload photos, videos, audio, and other files of the dump site to assist authorities in their investigation.
- Optional Contact Information: While you have the option to include contact information (such as name, email, and/or phone number), it is not mandatory.
- Use: The information provided through the app may be used for investigation, prosecution, and/or cleanup purposes. Any information provided, including media and contact information, will be considered public information and may be subject to disclosure under the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA) NMSA 1974 Chapter 14 Article 2. San Juan County does not sell this information for profit.
