Salary, Benefits & Incentives

Base Salary:

  • Entry level: $30.31/hour ($63,044.80/year)
  • Lateral deputy: $30.31 – $37.00/hour DOQ ($63,044.80 - $79,960/year)
  • Multiple overtime opportunities available to all positions

Time-Off Benefits:

  • 11 paid holidays per year
  • Sick leave (accrued at approximately 95 hours/year)
  • Vacation leave – 2 weeks/year (up to 5 years of service), 3 weeks/year (5 – 10 years of service), 4 weeks/year (10+ years of service)
    • Laterals may be qualified for higher accrual rates
  • Personal day – 8 hours per year
  • Bereavement leave – up to 40 hours
  • Comp time – maximum of 80 hours

Incentives:

  • College degree incentives:
    • Associates Degree – $1,800.00 per year
    • Bachelor’s Degree – $2,400.00 per year
    • Master’s Degree – $3,000.00 per year

    • Take home vehicles within a 40 mile radius of main office
    • 4-day work week (work four 10-hour days and have three days off)
